Liunthayar Township, According to the Federation of Solidarity Unions (STUM), which is helping the workers of the factory, the LIANFA Garment Factory in Shwe Salwin Industrial Zone was inspected on February 14 and the workers were taken out by ferry before the inspection team arrived.

The LIANFA factory was inspected on February 14 due to complaints that there were violations of labor rights at work.

The workers said that when the factory was notified of the inspection, only 100 workers were left behind before the inspection teams arrived, and the remaining workers were taken outside.

"When the inspection teams went back, we had to go back to work," said one factory worker.

Those who remained at the factory were the ones who would say what the employer asked them to testify, and the workers were asked to return to the factory after the inspection teams returned.

A STUM official said, "Certainly, the minister's office will write a nice report and consider it as false information."

The LYANFA factory was opened in May of last year and started operating with more than 1,000 employees.

In that factory, the worker did not receive a copy of the employment contract (EC) contract. Some employees do not sign EC, Day fee is 5,600 kyats per person, but only 4,800 kyats on weekends. If you don't take more time, we don't arrange the ferry. If the date is missed, the professional fee will be cut. Grade reduction, I have to go down all day and night overtime. STUM has released that the workers are faced with being served only water-boiled dishes during the night shift.

During the coup d'état, if there were reports of violations of labor rights in the factory, the inspection teams would go in and investigate.
